Client Stories

Carol Benton

Communication Expert, best-selling author and speaker.

Already a competent speaker, Carol wanted help with shaping her backstory to take her speaking to the next level.

Following my StoryCRAFT process we worked on creating the core of a keynote presentation for her. This included highlighting the relevant parts of her background (having graduated in languages, she found herself working within the IT industry where communication soon became her area of expertise).

Akanda Ashraf

AI specialist in Forensic Applications

With a PhD in the field in Complex Systems and AI, Akanda was referred to me for help with his presentation skills.

His new role in a software company included giving presentations to prospective customers on the company’s products, something Akanda had very little experience or confidence in. A native of Bangladesh, English is also his second language.

Helen

This client prefers to remain anonymous. I’m referring to her as Helen, not her real name.

Having heard me speak at an event for mentors with The Girls’ Network, Helen approached me for help with building her confidence in public speaking and spoken business communication in general. She felt ready to start looking for her next promotion and recognised the value of these skills, not only to help her secure that next position but within that position itself too.

Phyu Thwe

Founder of The Mogok Tea Company, Myanmar

Being the daughter or relatively wealthy parents within a predominantly Buddhist community in Myanmar comes with a cultural expectation to support those less fortunate than herself in her local area back home.

As a successful accountant living in London, Phyu was always determined that she would fulfil this in her own way and not follow the usual path of sending money back home.

Diane Mitchell

Mindset therapist and Host to The Wonderful World of Wellbeing events

Diane was already an experienced speaker when we met. She has a very powerful story which she shares as an example of how effective the healing modalities she uses in her client work can be.

Sarah Jones

Leadership Coach

Sarah is a leadership coach and speaker. She approached me for help with a specific speech she was working on.

Our aim was to create a speech that could easily be adapted for longer speaking slots, without having to start from scratch again.
