Neurodivergence: embracing your difference
In this episode of The Different Stories Podcast we talk about the importance of embracing individuality and self-expression rather than quashing it - of being who we are and seeing ADHD as a gift whilst acknowledging it’s challenges too. Following her parents’ separation and several years of expat life in Hong Kong, Deborah was sent to various boarding schools in UK. Moving from school to school, and having to adapt to each one, made her recognise her differences. Now with a diagnosis of ADHD, which came in her early 40’s, she’s much better placed to make sense of both her struggles and capabilities.
