Why don’t you just…?

Recognising herself in some of questions during her daughter’s assessment for Dyslexia, Niki McGlynn could finally make more sense of herself and her past. As a neuro-development therapist herself, in this episode of The Other Stories Podcast Niki shares some of her vast knowledge and understanding of several conditions, including Autism, ADHD and of course Dyslexia, as well as some of her own story. Niki McGlynn has been a therapist for over twenty years. She has always had an interest in working with people who are neurodiverse. On discovering her daughters diagnosis, Niki was keen for her not to repeat her own experience at school so looked for something that would help specifically and found neurodevelopment therapy. This has also led to further interest in working with people with trauma, using movement to help build and rebuild connections in the brain. www.OrganisedMind.co.uk [email protected] Twitter @OrganisedMind Instagram _OrganisedMind Facebook OrganisedMind About the host Rachel Maunder Rachel Maunder is a Story Coach, helping people find and craft their personal stories for greater engagement through speaking.
