Pollie Rafferty’s pathway out of her continuing journey with depression and anxiety showed up when she discovered storytelling. Having found something creative that she could lose herself in she started to live, not merely exist. In this episode she shares how having been so inspired herself by storytelling that she decided to turn it into a business. Pollie is known as the Speakers Storyteller, an international speaker and creator of the STAR storytelling system. She has performed in schools, networking events and more, She then began to study storytelling, learning its history, purpose and effects. She has battled with mental and physical health issues for decades and has overcome many hurdles to get to where she is now.
