Brought up with the message ‘at least you’re only blind’, in this episode of The Other Stories Podcast Dr. Sarah Bryan shares her story of how, despite her history of personal trauma, she has gone on to a life of great achievement. She talks about how her own experience of a challenging life now helps her to relate to clients who also have challenges. About Dr. Sarah Bryan Born with total sight loss Sarah always felt a vocation for working in the well-being sector. She tried many career paths which didn’t work out owing to her visual impairment and worked as a speech scientist for 10 years. Drained by academia, she started a different path and trained as a therapist alongside her Ph.D studies. She now works alongside a multidisciplinary team, helping with long-term pain to become pain-free for good and regain control of their lives.
